FRIENDS OF THE TAKIN
Friends of the Bhutan Takin is a non-profit initiative to support and create awareness of the Bhutan Takin. Money donated will go directly towards the procurement of animal feed. The initiative invites interested individuals to become members under three categories.
Donations can be made at the preserve's ticket counter.

The money donated will be directly assisting the protection of Bhutan's national animal.
Donations beyond Nu. 5,000 will receive tax exemption receipt.
Invitation to any environment events organized by agencies under the Ministry of
Agriculture and Forestry.
Funds will be deposited in the Endowment Fund for managing the Royal Takin Preserve.

Funds will also be used for the animals feed with approximate to Nu.775 per day.
